Master of Arts (Law and Social Development)

Department of Business Administration | Master of Arts (Law and Social Development)

Master of Arts (Law and Social Development) at ISKKU welcomes students with diverse academic backgrounds who are passionate about public service and want to explore the role of law in advancing social and economic development, particularly in the GMS region.

Master of Arts (Law and Social Development)

IS-KKU’s M.A. Degree Program in Law and Social Development is open to students

who possess an undergraduate degree in law, public administration, political science, international affairs, development studies, or any other degree that would prepare the student for the rigors of graduate-level studies in the field of law and development. Like any graduate studies program, the quality and success of the student’s prior performance in his/her undergraduate (or other) studies is an important factor in assessing a student’s application for admission but also is whether the student has demonstrated a commitment to public service and helping disadvantaged and vulnerable communities. We strive to create a diverse learning environment attended by students representing all the GMS countries/regions (Cambodia, China-Guangxi, China-Yunnan, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand and Vietnam), as well as other students interested in the GMS, who are eager to explore the important role of law in the process of social and economic development.
